Dimensions: Folded length 62cm; width at wider part 18.2cm; width at narrow end 13cm

Technique: Essentially a long strip of cloth is folded and then a diagonal seam is stitched part way down from the fold to create a hood-like form. All hand-sewn.

Motifs: Floral; naturalistic geese

Collector: Unknown; acquired by Easdale in 1908.

Notes: According to catalogue documentation, nine items donated together were "Given to the donor's grandfather, George Washington Easdale, who had a sporting goods shop in Ottawa, in lieu of a bad debt [for hunting equipment], ca1908."
