Notes: Sam Waller was a teacher at the Church Missionary Society residential school in Moose Factory from 1923-1930. During that period he acquired innumerable items from the Cree of Moose Factory, Waskaganish, and Eastmain to form a teaching collection. The flowers on these moccasins are similar to those found on earlier Waskaganish and Mistissini items.
